HERE’S HOW TO ENTER:
Download the Gummibär “Bubble Up” Remix Parts from Soundcloud or from here – MP3 Remix Files or WAV Remix Files
Use these parts to create your own special remix of “Bubble Up” in whatever style or genre that you want! (Feel free to use all of the parts or just some of the parts. Feel free to add your own unique parts, just please make sure that you don’t use any illegal samples or samples that you don’t own.)
Once you’ve made your remix, upload it to the Gummibär Bubble Up Remix Contest Group on Soundcloud by selecting the “Share A Track” option. Make sure it’s uploaded before 11:59 PM EDT on September 16, 2012. That’s the deadline.
The Top 10 remixes will be selected by a panel of judges and the public will then get to vote on the Top 5 from September 17th until September 30th.
The contest is open to EVERYONE. You don’t have to be a DJ, remixer, musician, or producer to enter or to win!
If you don’t think you have any remixing tools:
Mac Owners can use Garageband which comes pre-installed on most Apple computers.
PC Owners can use Audacity or Acid Xpress. Both are free remixing software.
And if you’re really super creative, you might not even need ANY special software to make a remix.
